Pushing Buffalo Since Day One
Best thing about Buffalo? Definitely all the friends and family I have there. And also being by the lake for the summer time is fucking great. Lake over ocean any day!
The best spots in Buffalo are the flatground in front of the skateshop and the Albright Knox ledges are really good. They're not a bust. All the spots are raw!
Buffalo is best know for having the best chicken wings you will ever eat and a lot of good people.
For someone who's never skated in Buffalo. Where is the first place you would tell them to go? I would go check out the shop, Sunday, and see who's going skating and see if someone is around to show you some spots or just go cruise downtown and see it all.
Go to spot for Food: So much good food in Buffalo. Duffs for wings, Casa Di Pizza, Panos, theres a lot!
Top 5 Reasons you love where you're from: Top 5 reasons I love where I'm from are the friends and family I have here. The lake. I love chicken wings and we have the best. Going out to my dad's ranch house, and being able to be in the city life and the country life with only a short drive!
Security/Cops in Buffalo are good for nothing.
Describe Buffalo in one word: BOWSE
Who is currently Pushing skateboarding in Buffalo and the skate community? There are a bunch of the guys killing it out here. To name a few, Dave Eoanoau, Jon D, Kiefer Laboy, Wes and Murph Dogg roooof!! And theres a lot of little kids pushing the scene, like, Caelin and Reashawn, keep it up you little girls!
Skateboarding in Buffalo will always be raw.
Something Buffalo has that nowhere else does: Best chicken wings, seriously, they are good!
Favorite spot in Buffalo would have to be the bump to dolly spot, its a new one that just popped up.
If it wasn't for Buffalo I wouldn't be having a career in skateboarding or have the people I know to skate with.
Best thing to come out of the Buffalo skate scene: The skateshop, Sunday. Its created a scene. A place to hang out and meet before we go out and skate. Get what you need and warm up on the bench out front.
Do you remember the first time you left Buffalo to skate elsewhere? Where did you go? We would go to Rochester, NY. And go to the skateshop, Krudco, to see demos and skate there. They were always rad.
Who from Buffalo do you owe it all to? Every one of my good friends and they know who they are.
Things you miss most when you're away? Friends, family and my girl. And my dad's house, because my friends go there to party even when I'm gone!
Best memory from growing up skating in Buffalo? Is when the shop opened and gave everything a new start. And it made skating alot more exciting to have that place to meet and go skate everyday. Thanks alot JP and JIM you guys rule!
